Make sure you have the right products (that are not harmful) to treat the lice issue that’s in your home.

Use Essential Oils

Essential oils have properties that can be used to eliminate lice from your kid’s scalp. Not only is this a viable option to choose since it’s natural, but it’s so easy to incorporate it into your shampoo and conditioner. All you have to do is add 5 to 8 drops of any essential oil into your shampoo and then brush for hair with a fine-toothed comb, and you will be good to go.

Important to know: the essential oils you can use are tea tree oil, neem oil, and lavender oil. It’s important that you leave your shampoo on for 30-40 minutes so it can really break down lice.

Olive Oil To Suffocate Lice

Olive oil not only brings a fantastic shine and humectation to your hair, but it also works as a perfect product to eliminate lice. All you have to do is apply olive oil generously into your entire scalp and put on a shower cap to maintain it secure. You can either leave it on during the night or set yourself a timer and then wash it off.

Also, remember to comb it out to remove nits from the hair.

Blow Dryers Always Work

Blow dryers are always known to work when someone has lice. Not only are they a product that everyone has in their home, but it can work perfectly because lice cannot handle high temperatures. Make sure to blow dry your hair after you comb it and then comb it once you’re done blow-drying.
